Dr. Jonathan

When not patching someone up in the ER, you may find Dr Jonathan tweaking his 1969 Alfa Romeo GTV restoration or preparing his 996 Turbo Race Car for the track. Jonathan is a board-certified, practicing Emergency Medicine Physician. He also co-owns and runs Hydrate Medical, an IV Hydration Clinic based in Charlotte. Working 6 years as an Alfa Romeo technician for Italian Motor Works in Atlanta, Georgia, he paid his way through college and beyond by wrenching away on little Italian cars. This time ignited his passion for automobiles, Alfa Romeo in particular, and developed his focus on precision and detail. Jonathan sees Euro Cars Southend as the perfect place to combine his automotive passion with his business experience to provide customers a truly bespoke experience. Whether it is traveling with his wife, sharing a bottle of wine, or taking a friend to the track for the first time, Jonathan, loves sharing amazing experiences with others. He believes Euro Cars Southend truly heightens the European car ownership experience and wants to share this with our clients.

Lane

Lane Cloninger is a true Charlottean, born and raised in the Queen City. His passion for Cars started started from before he could even drive, purchasing a 67 bronco, getting it running, and flipping it for a small profit. Throughout his high school years he found a niche for finding vehicles that others felt were broken beyond repair and turning them into daily drivers. Before leaving for NCSU he had bought, fixed, and sold 13 vehicles. After college, Lane moved back to Charlotte and formed "The Cloninger Group" building high end custom homes throughout Uptown's surrounding neighborhoods. He has built or renovated close to 50 homes. Continuing to develop his automotive passion in the mid 2000's Lane, along with some close friends, formed a lemons team bringing back to life a 73 Alfa spider purchased for less then $500. Throughout the years he and his team have competed in many races and have experienced many challenges including blowing up on the racetrack test day, spending a night rebuilding a motor in a field and actually resulting in a first place finish in our class. As a car Enthusiast, Lane has a love of Classic Broncos for off roading (on his 14th Bronco now) and European sports cars which he often takes to the track (multiple M3s and 997CS). He is currently building an E46 M3 and can't wait to pass Jon Leake's 996TT (I know, good luck, haha). Over the years with his home building experience, Lane has developed an eye for detail that always felt was missing from most auto shops. In partnering up with two other passionate friends, they decided to create an environment that could utilize each of their strengths and serve as the new standard for True Car Enthusiasts.
